Great stay and location Positive: Location and staff Negative: Very dated and a bit expensive

Both us and our wee dog loved our short stay Positive: Short walk to village , the views were outstanding , audio very equipped well thought off Negative: The position and layout was great for our short weekend

Very Dissappointing Positive: Room was big, there was parking and it had a nice view. Negative: It’s difficult to get past the inner city concrete estate approach to the apartments. Once inside it was a very tired apartment and both double beds were basically sofa beds. We could also here everything the people in the room above were doing, there were about 8 of them to judge by the different voices and they were not being very loud, but they were not being quiet ether. The next door hotel is not really connected to this place. So as their restaurant was busy, they wouldn’t let us eat there, unless we were their guests. The other nearby restaurant was closed and the nearby pub restaurant was also closed as their chef was on holiday (this was in August!). Nowhere local was open past 8pm, so we had to drive the 45 minutes to Pitlochry where at least there was only an Indian restaurant open, luckily they were nice. Then a 45 minute drive back in the dark. We had forgotten that it’s almost impossible to eat late in the highlands, unless it’s Indian, Chinese, Thai or such, of course, thank heavens for incomers!
