Gorgeous Views of Loch Rannoch & Schiehallion from the Comfort of your Bed Positive: Absolutely stunning location, especially the Lochside Lodges. We saw nothing but loch and Schiehallion from all of our windows as well as the balcony, which was incredible. There's also super convenient access to the loch via a little tunnel which is just ideal for a quick morning swim or whatever else your heart might desire in terms of lochside fun. The accommodation comes off as a tiny bit dated, which they're absolutely aware of judging by the leaflet addressing their renovation plans for the next few years. The flats are really interesting architecturally though, with multiple skylights and high ceilings (although better use could be made of those - alcove bed, anyone?! - but that's not for us to decide). Overall super clean, kitchen very well equipped, absolutely massive fridge, very convenient parking just across the street. Negative: Honestly nothing serious at all. The bed situation is a bit funny (bunk beds in a separate room, but if you want a big bed you've got to convert the sofa yourself) and the mattresses of said bunk beds have seen better days but that's it, really.
