Highland Lodge 40, Loch Rannoch Highland Club

Lovely Views. Bring Supplies. Positive: The apartment was roomy. The view from the upstairs was stunning. Clean accommodation. Quiet. Negative: Once off the main road, the road to/from the apartment is largely single track. Allocated parking spaces are very small and many are on a hill. We went to the Hotel next door thinking we could get an evening meal, but they were only accommodating hotel (not connected to the apartments) guests, so we didn't get any food. The nearest town, Tummel Bridge, is a 15 minute drive away. Be prepared and bring plenty supplies or be happy to use the car. We did see a lot of Asda vans deliver and now understand why.

Can’t wait to return soon. Positive: Immaculate, spacious bright airy apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Comfortable beds, clean showers and bathrooms. Didn’t have time to try the sauna in the apartment. Excellent polite helpful staff in the office. Amazing views across the loch. Very very peaceful and quiet. Great to stay to cycle to the Rannoch train station and back. If you don’t want to cook for yourself the restaurant in minutes walk away. Lots of water sports and electric bikes to hire.

Positive: View to the lake was excellent. We have experience very nice weather and rain as well. Having a tea in the balcony at the second floor at all weather conditions was amazing. Negative: We could smell humidity at the first floor where the bedrooms were. The second floor was good.

A magnificent place with stunning views and private sauna!

Positive: Such a beautiful place! We booked 3 lodges and each lodge was so comfy, well equipped and felt like a second home. The views were stunning and the staff were so nice Negative: It would be nice if the check in/out times were more accommodating but no complaints otherwise
