Loch Rannoch Highland Club, Lochside Lodge 03

Positive: lovely views from arrival and in accommodation. everything was beautiful inside. Negative: we booked a mobile deal but on arrival it was a steep incline to parking. Also steps up to accommodation and when we got inside accommodation.

Fantastisch uitzicht Positive: De locatie. Wij zaten in Lake side lodge 5, met een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer. Mooi om met zo'n uitzicht wakker te worden. Sauna is ook top. Voor boodschappen of benzine ben je wel 40 minuten onderweg, maar dat heb je al snel in Schotland. Negative: Wat gedateerde meubels en keuken. Maar wel netjes en schoon. Iets meer info bij Inchecken had fijn geweest, over to-do in de omgeving.

Absolutely lovely place. Positive: Perfect stay. We and kids loved the stay. Amazing view from master bedroom Make Perfect morning coffee from the bed Negative: The only thing to improve was one cold bedroom in villa number 3 . Even though we put max heating, there was still quite cold in the bedroom near the front door.

Positive: The location of the property is beautiful. This was our second time staying at the Highland Club and we'll be back. The apartments are well equipped, and have everything you need for a self catering stay. They are clean and well kept. Any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Negative: The fixtures and fittings are a bit on the older side and it is very obvious that the decor has not been updated for a while. Majority of the furniture is quite dated in look but clearly very well cared for.

A very relaxing & peaceful short break. Positive: When we arrived, we found we were going to be in a villa with 51 steps up to it from where our car was parked. As my wife wouldn’t have been able to walk up, the staff were very helpful & assigned us another villa which was immediately beside Loch Rannoch. It was very pleasant & comfortable, good sized rooms & excellent kitchen area. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the peace & quiet & the beautiful views from the property. Negative: The fact that the number of steps up to the original property was not mentioned in the information was rather off-putting although we were fortunate that we were offered somewhere more suitable. Apart from that, everything else was fine.
