Positive: There were issues to start with and misunderstanding but we had a meeting with the manager Richard and he went above and beyond to resolve it. Not only was it resolved but we will be booking again next year. What a truly amazing manager he is and I would employ him myself. Negative: Slight misunderstanding with the facilities available and the hotel being shut down. I would make sure guests are aware of this possibility.

Loch Rannoch - Stunning Positive: The view was stunning, the apartment was relaxing and the restaurant food was very tasty. The staff were great, after my mistake (rented a studio for 4 people and a dog, doh!) they were able to upgrade my apartment for a more suitable one and for a good cost.

Location perfect, accomodation poor. Positive: The Loch Rannoch location and surrounding countryside is superb. It is such a lovely place to spend time there. We have stayed here many times, and at all different times of the year - it never disappoints. Negative: Having stayed at the location many times over 30 years, I was very disappointed with the accomodation provided in the studio unit. There is no comparison to the excellent units that we have had previously. It is like poor quality student lodgings. The car parking for the studio and apartment units is the worst car parking of any establishment that we have ever stayed at, with no other option offered other than parking down at reception and then having a half mile walk back to the accomodation. We would not book to stay in these studio units in the future.

Positive: The views were exceptional. Studio was clean and well equipped. Negative: It was dated.

Cleanliness is the most important factor for us and the room was perfectly clean. Positive: Location and size of room. Negative: Rather old fashioned. In need of a refurbishment.
